The Asian Development Bank is an international organization created with the initiative of the United Nations to stimulate economic growth in Asia and the Far East.
ADB is the major donor for the construction of the new Kvesheti-Kobi road.
In addition to $ 415 million in funding, the organization shares its experience of successful international projects to Georgia to get the most out of the project. Also, with the support of ADB the new road was designed to minimize the negative impact on the local environment and residents.

This time, EBRD, together with the State of Georgia and Asian Development Bank, is financing the construction of the new Kvesheti-Kobi road.
