{"id":1801,"date":"2022-11-21T13:34:35","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T13:34:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kveshetikobiroad.ge\/?p=1801"},"modified":"2022-11-21T13:43:00","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T13:43:00","slug":"free-medical-examination-for-the-population-of-kvesheti-village-and-khada-valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kveshetikobiroad.ge\/en\/free-medical-examination-for-the-population-of-kvesheti-village-and-khada-valley\/","title":{"rendered":"FREE MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR THE POPULATION OF KVESHETI VILLAGE AND KHADA VALLEY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the support and organizing of the Kvesheti-Kobi New Road Project, the residents of Khada Valley underwent free medical prophylactic examinations within the framework of the Local Support and Social Protection Program.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors of the Remedical clinic visited the valley on 17th of November.<\/p>\n<p>The following profile doctors provided free consultations to the population at Kvesheti outpatient center: General Surgeon, Angiosurgeon, Urologist, Gynecologist, Traumatologist, Therapist, Cardiologist, Neuropathologist, Endocrinologist. Ultrasound and cardiology examinations, blood glucose tests were also performed free of charge as needed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, another medical group from Tbilisi consulted those patients in homes who, for some reason, are unable to move. As part of the campaign, patients were given medicines according to the doctor\u2019s prescription.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Within the framework of the Kvesheti-Kobi new road project, we are conducting medical check-ups for the residents of Khada valley for the third time. In general, similar social activities are often carried out within the framework of the project. The population living in Khada valley does not have access to such services as medical services, pharmacy, etc., due to the lack of roads and heavy snowfall in winter. Accordingly, similar activities are important in order to provide additional benefits to the population within the framework of the project.&#8221; &#8211; said Salome Tsurtsumia Deputy Chairman of the Roads Department of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>More than 70 beneficiaries took part in the action, In total.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries were identified in a preliminary survey conducted by the Regional Development Youth Center in Khada Valley.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Roads Department, the action is part of the pensioner\u2019s support program, which was implemented with the direct involvement of the Department of Regional Relations of the Government of Georgia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the support and organizing of the Kvesheti-Kobi New Road Project, the residents of Khada Valley underwent free medical prophylactic examinations within the framework of the Local Support and Social Protection Program.
